Vlaze × Zwilling Flammkraft at WestEdge 2025: Colour, Craft and a New Kind of Bar

We’ve just returned from a successful WestEdge Design Fair in Santa Monica, and a huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our outdoor booth. It was a real pleasure to showcase our British made outdoor kitchens and to spend time with California’s design community, be that in the rain (which we’re quite used to), shine and everything in between. 

What we launched 

The NEW Halo Bar 

Headlining our stand was the all new Halo Bar, an outdoor kitchen that becomes both stage and table. At its core a Zwilling Flammkraft grill sat within generous porcelain enamel countertops offering expansive prep space. One side is dedicated to the chef or mixologist, while the surrounding sides transform into a raised bar for guests. It’s a natural gathering place that keeps the host in the conversation. NEW colours: Reseda and Sky 

We introduced two brand new enamel colours for 2025. Reseda, a soft, striking green, and Sky, a calming light blue are inspired by the beauty of the outdoors. Like every Vlaze finish, these are true porcelain (vitreous) enamel glazes fused to steel, bringing luminous depth, long term colour stability and easy clean durability to open air spaces. 

New all appliance integration 

We demonstrated the Zwilling Flammkraft Model D within our modular cabinetry and unveiled an Ochre Cocktail Station featuring an integrated True Residential fridge and kegerator. Ideal for a service that moves seamlessly from the grill to the perfect, freshly poured beer. Alongside, our Indigo Stipple Grill Cart showed how compact, freestanding stations can deliver serious performance on terraces, rooftops and poolside decks without permanent construction. 

Built for real life outdoors 

Under the colour and craft sits a quiet discipline. Each Vlaze unit is engineered from 304 grade stainless steel and finished in porcelain enamel fired at high temperature. The result is a surface that is heatproof, weatherproof, hygienic and stain resistant which is easy to wipe down after service and ready for the next day’s cooking. Modules join cleanly, island conversions encourage sociable layouts, and many units are available on castors so you can re-position with the seasons. Whether you’re planning a compact city terrace or a full poolside pavilion, the system adapts to the architecture and the way you like to entertain. 

On the road in California 

Around the fair we visited several private homes featuring new Vlaze kitchens, including a striking property in Beverly Hills which is a fitting new home for the Reseda Halo Bar. Seeing the bar in situ confirmed what we witnessed all weekend at WestEdge: guests naturally gather at the raised edge, the chef remains part of the moment, and the enamel surface shines throughout.
