Chassis manufactured from 304 grade brushed stainless steel
A Vlaze ADAPT chassis is made from the highest quality British steel. This is a conscious decision made by A.J Wells and Vlaze due to the environmental benefits of buying locally and because the quality is second to none.
304 stainless steel is a commercial-grade stainless-steel sheet metal. It’s versatile, anti-rusting and heat resistant, suitable for a wide range of uses including our superbly designed ADAPT units.
Vitreous enamel surface finish with 25-year guarantee
The strong, solid stainless-steel chassis is coated in a luxurious vitreous enamel finish which, firstly, gives the iconic look, but also provides a host of other benefits including:
- LONGEVITY – Enamel lasts up to 4 times longer than standard powder coated panelling.
- WEATHERPROOF – Enamel is resistant to all the elements be it rain, sun, snow or hail it will not fade or corrode.
- CHEMICAL RESISTANCE – Enamel is resistant to virtually all alkali, acids, organic solvents & detergents.
- HYGIENIC – The smooth, sealed surface of enamel eliminates the absorption of dirt, grease and bacteria.

They provide a pleasing visual accent, while the integrated soft-close mechanism makes the user experience effortless.
Premium heavy-duty braked castors up to 800kg
We have selected hardwearing, non-marking tyres that run silky smooth and have low rolling resistance. This means there is no risk to your flooring when moving your unit into position, while wheel brakes allow you to firmly secure your unit in place. Solid steel housing means their durability live up to the rest of your unit.
Nickel-plated magnetic catch
Nickel-plated magnetic catches have been selected for their durability and rust resistance. They incorporate a shock absorber which allows for a quieter connection, while they possess a strong heavy-duty pull that means doors can be safely stowed while in motion.
