Solid colours
Our solid colours are perhaps the most popular choice and really showcase the luxurious vitreous enamel glazed surface. The minimalist aesthetic also lends itself to the widest range of interiors.

Crackle glaze
Utilising the same base colours as above, but with a unique crackle glazed surface – no two heatshields are exactly the same! Below is a video showing close-up images of our full crackle glaze range. The images allow you to see the subtle design which possesses a timeless quality that suits any fireplace.
Quilted finish
Conveying strength and sophistication, our quilted finish provides a sense of luxury while protecting the home. An A.J Wells patented application, it is one of our most frequently requested heatshield finishes.
Again, all the base solid colours are available in the Quilted finish.
Designer finishes
Below is a video showcasing our range of designer finishes which all hold the potential to add a little flair to your interior design. In order of appearance, we have Mini Moderns Whitby Denim, Black Splatter, Cademuir Basalt, Clay Splatter, Indigo Stipple, Nori, Ochre and Graphite Quilted.

The Indigo Stipple Finish
Indigo Stipple is simply stunning and is reminiscent of a gently moving ocean in twilight. It’s created by applying a heavy coat of liquid enamel resulting in a sophisticated finish that looks amazing in the home. Used for Vlaze ADAPT units as well as heatshields it is a statement finish that serves to create sculptural pieces out of functional objects.
The Black Splatter Finish
An artistic, decorative finish that Jackson Pollock would be proud of. Skilfully created by our craftsmen by flicking a contrasting enamel organically over a base coat. It produces a contemporary look that suits any environment.
The Nori Finish
This is a finish created using brown and green spray enamels applied in differing thicknesses. Used across our product range, Nori has an organic feel that takes influence from, as its name suggests, the famous edible Japanese seaweed.
Vlaze sample coasters
Images can’t quite do justice to the beauty of Vlaze. It is only when seeing and touching it in person that you can truly appreciate its splendour. Happily, we have recently made 90x90mm square coaster samples available to order in any Vlaze surface colour and finish. It’s the perfect way to sample our luxurious vitreous glazes.
